Regarding cameras, Xiaomi 12 is equipped with a set of three rear sensors: the main 50-megapixel one, with standard optics, has a 1/1.56″ Sony IMX766 sensor, the wide-angle one is 13-megapixel, with 123° field of view, while the 5-megapixel sensor is dedicated to magnifications (2x optical) and macros. The front camera is 32-megapixel.

Night Video

Thanks to AI algorithms and imaging technology, the video automatically brightens the scene and captures more details than the naked eye, even when shooting in the dark, as if a night vision filter were added to the phone.

Xiaomi 12 features an extra-large vapor chamber with LiquidCool cooling, made with Xiaomi's thinnest components, only 0.3 mm, so heat flow is accelerated and internal temperature is more effectively dissipated, to allow the device to be well cooled in every situation.

Regarding sensors and connectivity, the level is stellar considering the presence of the Snapdragon X65 5G modem which guarantees maximum performance from a connectivity point of view: Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 E (up to 3.6 Gbps), 5G SA/NSA, 4G/LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, USB C port and in-screen fingerprint reader.

MIUI 13 is the version of the proprietary graphic interface with which Xiaomi 12 presents itself to the public, an interface based on Android 12. Xiaomi advertises it as 52% more fluid than the previous version, as always full of features and customization options to tailor it to your needs. In addition to improvements in night shots, reserved for the photographic software, and the cooling system for the most intense gaming sessions, Xiaomi 12 is also particularly well-crafted from an audio point of view, handled by Harman Kardon, thanks to the two symmetrical speakers mounted and Dolby Atmos signature.
