Starting with the display, we find a 6.53-inch 20:9 IPS panel with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600) and a drop notch for the front camera. The system is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, with an octa-core CPU (8 Cortex A53 at 2.0 GHz) and PowerVR 8320 GPU (up to 650 MHz), accompanied by 2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 memory (expandable up to 512 GB via microSD).
Connectivity includes dual 4G/VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and a micro USB connector. The latter is dedicated to charging the 5,000 mAh battery with 10 W charging. The 3.5 mm jack port is also present.
As for the camera compartment, there are two cameras, one front and one back: on the rear there is a 13 MP sensor with autofocus, f/2.2 aperture, 74° FOV and LED flash; inside the drop notch there is a 5 MP camera for selfies, with f/2.2 aperture and 83° FOV.
We also find Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, speakerphone, MP3 player and FM radio.
Redmi 9AT Design
Redmi 9AT certainly doesn't stand out for its originality, given that it is in fact a Redmi 9A. The single rear camera is located in the upper left within a vertical module that includes the LED flash. There is no fingerprint sensor, and the bezels are reduced.
The dimensions are 164.9 x 77.07 x 9 mm for a weight of 194 grams.
Redmi 9AT Software
The operating system of Redmi 9AT at launch is Android 10, with the customized MIUI 11 interface.
The smartphone supports fast charging up to 10 W and features full-screen gestures, a blue light filter and reading mode.
