POCO X4 Pro 5G is a smartphone with an AMOLED screen with a 6.67-inch diagonal, FullHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and, above all, a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a 360 Hz touch sampling rate, for consistently fluid images and high touch responsiveness.

The panel, featuring a punch-hole solution for the front camera, supports the DCI-P3 color gamut, offers SGS Eye Care certification, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The peak brightness reaches 1,200 nits, making it very visible even under direct sunlight.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Mobile Platform, manufactured with a 6-nanometer process and featuring a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. The RAM is LPDDR4X type while the internal memory is UFS 2.2 and can be expanded with microSD up to 1 TB.

Dynamic RAM Expansion technology is present, allowing up to 3 GB of "virtual" RAM to be added by using internal memory to simulate its functions and achieve an increase in performance.

Connectivity is excellent, starting with support for 5G (SA/NSA) networks, 4G/LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, an infrared transmitter, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The multimedia aspect is also well-designed, with dual speakers and a Z-axis linear vibration motor for quality haptic feedback.

POCO has also focused on the photographic sector, using a 108-megapixel sensor on one of its smartphones for the first time. A 1/1.52″ sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 2.1 micro pixels (with 9-in-1 pixel binning) has been used, flanked by an 8-megapixel sensor (f/2.2) with an ultra-wide-angle lens (119-degree FoV) and a 2-megapixel macro sensor (f/2.4) which has now become ubiquitous in this price range. At the front, we find a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

A 5,000 mAh battery is also included, capable of providing two days of autonomy. And to reduce charging times, there is support for 67-watt fast charging, which allows the battery to be fully charged in just 41 minutes, so it's always ready for use.

POCO X4 Pro 5G Design

The POCO X4 Pro 5G stands out from the crowd with its distinctive design. Its flat profile makes it truly UNIQUE, as does the large black insert that houses the three camera sensors, the LED flash, and the highly visible manufacturer's logo.

The choice to opt for a fingerprint reader integrated into the power/unlock button is very good.

Thanks to IP53 certification, the smartphone is splash-resistant, making it convenient for any occasion.

POCO X4 Pro 5G Software and Features

The POCO X4 Pro 5G uses the customized MIUI 13 interface, currently based on Android 11, rich in new functionalities and with significantly improved performance compared to the previous version, to optimize the user experience and make using the device increasingly pleasant.

There are numerous optimizations and functions related to the camera, starting with panoramic selfies, to get group shots where everyone is always present. The rear camera, on the other hand, can count on slow motion, dual video, time-lapse, super macro, movie filter and kaleidoscope, to create all kinds of videos that capture attention.

POCO X4 Pro 5G features LiquidCool technology, consisting of a large copper pipe and multiple layers of graphite sheets, for rapid heat dissipation and prolonged cooling.
