Its peculiarity is the adoption of ZINK (Zero-Ink) technology, i.e. inkless, which prints images through thermal exchange on multiple layers, offering rapid printing with a resolution of 313 x 400 dpi in a very short time, of good quality considering the total absence of ink.
To make this product appealing, Xiaomi has also introduced AR technology, or "Augmented Reality", which will allow you to see a short video or listen to a soundtrack by framing the photograph you printed with the Pocket Printer thanks to the dedicated APP.
The Xiaomi Pocket Photo Printer interfaces with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 connection, allowing you to print up to a distance of approximately 10m.
As for autonomy, it has a 500mAh lithium polymer battery that will give us a duration of up to 20 hours. The Xiaomi Zynk printer is compatible with Android and iOS, so to use it you need to download the dedicated APP from the respective stores.
Through the dedicated Mi Home application, it is possible to better manage the printer, and with it you can create collages thanks to predefined templates, create passport photo type prints, print AR (Augmented Reality) photos, create musical photos, etc.
