You've surely noticed the innovative electronic labels when entering one of our TEC Stores. Do you know why we use them?

First and foremost, it's to save an enormous amount of paper and toner that would otherwise be used daily to print and update prices and product information for both existing and new items. We analyzed how much each Store could save in terms of consumption and emissions – well, the cost is just slightly less than a monthly part-time employee's salary!

At this point, having started as phygital stores, we couldn't help but use ESL (Electronic Shelf Label) technology to bring innovation and quality to our products and services.

Each label is connected LIVE to our management systems, our e-commerce, our APP, and everything around us!

This allows us to inform and update you LIVE on what's happening online as well. For example: if a product is sold at a discount by one of our competitors, automatically and without any staff intervention, our online/offline offer, and therefore also on the in-store label, will align with what the market offers.

Furthermore, every time the price changes and becomes an offer (practically up to 4 times a day), the product label will start to light up in Green.
Each LED color has a particular meaning: if it lights up Red, the product is selling out fast – it's a strong recommendation not to miss the offer!!
